TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By proceeding to make the payment and rent The Point Studio, registered as Ansab City Trading, Muscat, Oman, CR Number: 1158424, located in Al-Maha Street, Bawsher, Muscat, Oman (referred to as “The Studio”), you, the undersigned (referred to as “The Client”), hereby confirm that you have read, fully understood, and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions, which shall apply and remain binding during the Client’s session — meaning the specific time slot and designated studio space reserved and paid for by the Client through the Studio’s official website.

1. STUDIO USE AND CAPACITY

  1. The Studio must be used for photography, videography, and creative production purposes only.
  2. The Studio accommodates three (3) to five (5) people per session.
  3. The Studio includes the following facilities for Client use as part of the rental: a dedicated space with studio lighting for makeup and styling, a private changing room, an internal toilet, a clothing steamer, clothing racks and hangers, and a speaker. The Client is responsible for using these facilities with care and ensuring they are left in the same condition they were received in.
  4. The Client may bring food or drinks into the Studio.  However, they must maintain cleanliness and respect the space at all times. Any spills or messes must be cleaned immediately by the
  5. The Client shall not bring pets to the Studio.
  6. The Client shall not bring any items that cause smoke or fire, including colored smoke. In case of violation, the Client shall be fully liable for any resulting damages or costs.

2. STUDIO ACCESS

  1. The Studio is located on the sixth (6th) floor. The building contains an elevator with a maximum capacity of 680 kilograms or nine (9) persons.
  2. Access will be granted either by a door code (sent via email) or by a team member present to assist the Client if requested and agreed upon priorly.
  3.  Studio entrance measurements are as follows (in centimeters):
      • Main building entrance: 128 x 204
      • Elevator entrance: 210 x 80
      • Studio door: 211 x 99

3. BOOKING AND TIMING

  1. All bookings must be made in advance through the Studio’s official website.
  2. A grace period of five (5) minutes before and after the scheduled session is granted for setup and wrap-up. If the Client requires additional time, it must be communicated in advance and will be accommodated subject to availability.
  3. If the Client exceeds the grace period, an hourly fee of OMR 25 will apply, calculated from the first minute after the grace period ends. The Client must notify the Studio in advance if additional time may be needed beyond the grace period, and approval depends on availability. 

4. BOOKING MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

  1.  Rescheduling is permitted if requested at least twelve (12) hours in advance and approval is subject to availability. No cancellations are allowed under any circumstances.
  2.  All requests for rescheduling must be communicated through the Studio’s official channels, including email or phone. A reschedule request is considered approved only once the Studio confirms it and provides the Client with the updated session time.

5. PAYMENT TERMS

  1. Full payment is required prior to the session.
  2. The Studio reserves the right to deny access if payment is not received in advance.
  3. Proceeding with payment constitutes the Client’s agreement to these terms and conditions

6. STUDIO CONDITION AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. The Client shall leave the Studio in the same condition as it was provided.
  2. The Client shall treat all Studio equipment, furnishings, and facilities with utmost care.
  3. The Studio provides backdrops, lighting equipment, and furniture as listed on the website. The Client shall ensure in advance that the available setup meets their production requirements. The Studio is not responsible for any misunderstandings arising from the session not meeting the Client’s specific needs or expectations.
    1. The Client may request a specific background color or paper backdrop. The preferred color must be communicated at the time of booking to ensure availability and proper setup by the Studio.
  4. The Client may move or adjust furniture and equipment within the Studio to suit their setup. However, all items must be returned to their original position before the end of the session.
  5. The Client shall be liable for any damages or missing items resulting from their use. If the Client discovers anydamage upon arrival, they must contact the Studio immediately. Failure to report the issue at the time of discovery, and its subsequent worsening, will result in the Client being held responsible.
  6.  The Client shall ensure that all Studio facilities, including furniture and equipment, are left in a clean condition. Leaving the Studio in a state that requires deep cleaning — meaning a thorough and intensive cleaning process beyond standard surface cleaning — will result in the Client bearing the cost of such services. If the Client arrives to find any part of the Studio in an unclean condition, they must immediately notify the Studio and provide photographic evidence. Failure to do so will result in the Client being held responsible for the state of the facility after use.
  7. The Studio is not responsible for any personal items lost during the session.

7. SAFETY AND LIABILITY

  1. The Studio shall not be used for any unlawful, hazardous, or inappropriate activities. The Client shall not record, produce, or carry out any content or actions that are contrary to public morals, decency, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations of the Sultanate of Oman.
  2. The Studio is not liable for any injury, accident, or harm sustained by the Client or their guests during the time of the session. Use of the Studio is at the Client’s own risk.
  3. The Studio does not provide insurance for the Client’s equipment, production, or personnel. 
  4. The Studio acts solely as a space provider and holds no responsibility for actions or conduct occurring during sessions, nor for any materials posted or shared on social media or other platforms that are unrelated to or independent of the Studio.

8. GOVERNING LAW

  1.  These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
  2.  Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Sultanate of Oman.
